About Memnar

    Why Memnar exists.

Memnar captures what experienced employees know in guided interviews: a person asks, the AI listens and writes it down. The expert approves every piece. Soon searchable for new hires.

    The person behind it

The question that kept coming back.

Last November I was learning to build software with AI, and the more I built, the more I learned about personal AI systems. One thing kept annoying me. Every new AI tool meant explaining all over again who I am and how I work. So I built my own AI-self, and that became the start of Memnar.

Then I talked with another founder who has spent years working on societal problems. He pointed me to the ageing workforce. Over the next few years many experienced colleagues will retire, and much of what they know has never been written down.

At WoTS, the Dutch trade fair for technology and industry, I heard about loyal seniors who keep coming in long after they retire, because they are the only ones who know the old machines. Those machines have no documentation at all. I heard that onboarding a new hire can take up to a year and a half, and that the new generation stays with an employer for a shorter time than the seniors did.

My background is in education. I first started Mission Relearn in 2016 and restarted it in 2026, this time all about AI. My focus is the person behind the AI: how people learn in a workplace that also values knowledge from experience. I know how learning works, and I build Memnar to guide this new way of passing on knowledge with the needs of both the new hire and the professional in mind.

Some things Memnar does not do. It does not replace your seniors. It never interviews anyone who has not agreed to it. It does not score or rate anyone: it is built to pass on knowledge.

    What it is built on

Four rules that do not bend.

    The expert approves

The expert approves or edits each piece, and can withdraw it up to an agreed date. Your company decides who reads it and how long it is kept.

    Their own words

Told in their own words and approved by them. Anything the AI adds is labelled.

    A person asks

A person asks the questions, the AI listens and writes it down. Memnar gives nobody a score or a rating.

    Credited by name

Credited to the colleague who shared it. Anyone who prefers can appear by role only.

    Where this comes from
